A Journey of Family, Adventure and Culinary Delights
Travel is more than just a pastime for Hemant and Nandita—it’s about culture, connection and creating lasting memories. This year, the founders of the brand along with their two sons, embarked on a family adventure through Italy and Paris, soaking in the romance of Parisian streets, the rolling hills of Tuscany, and the vibrant energy of Rome.
Here, our founder Nandita Raipurani shares her experiences, favorite places and family travel tips to help you plan your own unforgettable Italian escape.
Postcard Perfect stays

Italy felt like a dream, especially our time in Tuscany. Staying at Hotel Tenuta Di Artimino was like stepping into another world—perched atop a hill surrounded by stunning vineyards and olive trees, the hotel felt more like an entire Tuscan village. The peaceful atmosphere and stunning views made it a magical experience. The charming village was perfect for leisurely strolls, with winding paths leading to rustic homes and scenic hills. The handful of local restaurants offered unique vibes and breathtaking views, and the food was nothing short of divine.
One of our favorite discoveries was the local gelato shop, a must-try for both locals and tourists. The gelato was some of the creamiest and most flavorful we've ever had. From the landscapes to the dining, everything felt like it came straight out of a postcard. Our journey continued with stays at Hotel Villa Garden on the Amalfi Coast and Una Hotels Deco Roma in the heart of Rome. Each destination had its own magic, but Tuscany’s beauty and warmth will always hold a special place in my heart.

Exploring Paris and Italy
Our love for exploration took us through both the historic and modern wonders of Paris and Italy. Paris was pure magic! Exploring the Louvre, we were captivated by the Mona Lisa and the museum's incredible art collection—it felt like stepping back in time. In Florence, a highlight was visiting the Gucci Museum, which sparked a little dream of my own—maybe one day, I'll have a museum dedicated to our brand! Visiting the Eiffel Tower was a surreal experience. Standing beneath its grandeur, we felt the beauty and timeless charm that makes Paris truly spectacular.

THE FERRARI MUSEUM IN MARANELLO

For both our kids, a visit to the Ferrari Museum in Maranello was a must. The entire town was adorned in Ferrari's iconic red, with Ferraris cruising the streets and even buses decked out in red.
GELATO TRAILS AND MIDNIGHT DANCES
Every day in Italy, gelato became our sweet ritual, stopping at various spots along our route. We visited the medieval charm of San Gimignano, the stunning Villa Cimbrone in Ravello, and experienced the timeless allure of Rome. We even rented a car to explore at our own pace, a must-do for anyone planning an Italian road trip. One of our favorite memories was dancing each night at Piazza Trilussa in Rome—Hemant's love for singing and our spontaneous dances in this lively square brought such joy. It felt like Rome never sleeps!
Dining and Street Food
Our family lives for good food, and Italy certainly didn't disappoint. Each meal was a new experience, whether indulging in street food or savoring multi-course dinners. Some of our favorite spots included Cantina del Redi and Da Mario in Tuscany, and Pirata Praiano along the Marina di Praia. We also loved Hotel Villa Maria in Ravello.
Hemant and Ryan (our younger one) even managed to sneak in a pizza and pasta cooking class in Rome, learning from the Italian masters themselves. For our family of food lovers, this was a special memory—nothing brings us closer than sharing food and laughter.

YACHTS, MARKETS AND MEMORIES
When it came to shopping, Italy's street markets were a dream. I'm not a shopaholic, but I do love to pick up pieces that inspire me. San Gimignano was filled with charming items that were hard to resist, and Capri's boutiques were equally delightful. Each piece felt like a small reminder of our travels.

As we carry these memories with us, we're grateful for the experiences that brought us closer and the adventures that made us feel so alive. Until the next journey, here's to celebrating the beauty of travel, family, and the simple joy of being together. La Dolce Vita, indeed!
